At PC AGE, you get access to a high-quality career services staff that is dedicated to preparing you for successful job interviews, effective resumes, modern job search strategies, and a professional image.

We also put you in touch with employers that are looking for the technical skills and IT certifications you acquire. As our student, you can be sure to receive the kind of individual attention and help needed to land the job you deserve.

Career training workshop

Included in the curriculum is a career training workshop where you will learn everything you need to know to smoothly transition into employment:

• Resume and online profile: A resume and cover letter needs to reflect your personality and professional strengths. It must emphasize your technical skills as well as your unique “transferable skills.” We help you develop a resume and professional online image that generates interviews.
• Job search techniques: Since many jobs are not advertised, we teach you how to find IT opportunities using multiple resources simultaneously, including online and social media tools that get you noticed by employers and access to unadvertised jobs.
• Technical interview preparation: During an interview, it is important to know how to verbally communicate your knowledge and skills by answering questions about yourself and asking the right questions. We teach you how to describe yourself with ease through role playing and coaching. We fine tune your skills during a technical mock interview to make sure you can express all of the abilities on your resume with confidence.

For employers

Since 1991, PC AGE has been helping companies hire qualified and certified IT candidates free of charge. That is one of the reasons why so many recruiters and employers contact us first when they need to fill an IT job. Another reason is because they can depend on our Career Services staff to quickly provide pre-qualified candidates.
